We are looking for a highly competent construction site manager to deliver new housing projects in Nairobi, building on the success of our past projects.
1. Job description
+ Coordinate and supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with both local and international safety regulations and quality standards
+ Interrogate and understand all construction drawings and specifications for correct execution including setting out
+ Ensure the highest quality of construction and finishing is achieved at all times
+ Manage project resources, including labour, materials, and equipment on site reporting to the head office
+ Arrange all site resourcing and prepare weekly and monthly labour payroll for submission to the head office
+ Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure smooth running of the project
+ Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly construction reports for management and stakeholders.
+ Manage construction team meetings and prepare and issue associated meeting documentation, minutes and reports
+ Manage site cleanliness and presentation at all times
+ Other related duties as assigned
2. Requirements
+ Application should include a cover letter explaining why you are suitable for the position
+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction site management
+ Proficient in CAD software, Microsoft Office suite and general computer literacy is essential
+ Sound knowledge of contemporary construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
+ First aid and emergency health and safety training qualifications are essential
+ Reliability and hard working attitude are paramount
+ Integrity and professional competence
