Architectural Assistants and CAD Technicians Full Time

1. Job description

+ Assistant architects or experienced CAD technicians for a leading firm of Architects

+ Reporting to the Directors

+ Assist in the development of architectural and interior design projects

+ Develop detailed 3d modelling for design projects and all associated 2d drawings at all project stages

+ Develop physical models for design projects using in house model making equipment and facilities

+ Prepare detailed design reports through the design process for all design stage milestones

+ Understand and integrate structural and services engineering elements into a architectural projects

+ Attend consultant design meetings, contribute to design development and document meeting discussions in minutes and correspondence

+ Attend site meetings and inspections, have a good understanding of construction and be able to interrogate the construction quality and process

+ Prepare minutes, correspondence and other associated documents for site meetings and inspections during construction

+ Understand building codes and international design standards to ensure compliance

+ Work collaboratively in a team

+ Other duties as assigned

2. Requirements

+ Ability to use Adobe Suite desirable

+ Relevant qualification in architecture or design based disciplines
